This lot contains an exceptionally well-painted and extensively converted Warhammer 40,000 Firstborn Space Marine army. The force combines infantry, characters, Dreadnoughts, and armoured vehicles, with extensive Tyranid-themed conversions worked throughout the collection. The army was converted and painted by Best Overall Painting and was used in MiniWarGaming's The Death of a Chapter narrative campaign.

MiniWarGaming History

This is the actual Space Marine force used in The Death of a Chapter, a MiniWarGaming narrative campaign. The army's visual identity was built around Space Marines who have been locked in a prolonged war against the Tyranids, with extensive Tyranid remains, claws, armour plates, trophies, and other organic components incorporated directly into the Marines, characters, Dreadnoughts, and vehicles.

The army was converted and painted by Best Overall Painting. Both the conversion work and painting are exceptionally high quality, giving the collection a distinctive, cohesive appearance that was created to communicate the history of the force visually on the tabletop.

About This Lot

This is a substantial all-Firstborn Space Marine collection featuring a broad infantry force, numerous converted characters and specialists, Dreadnoughts, and heavily modified armoured vehicles. Tyranid components appear throughout the army rather than being limited to a few showcase pieces, making the theme consistent across the entire force.
